DMV Requirements for teens;
The teens (under 17 and 1/2) must take a 30hours driver education course (Online or Classroom) and a minimum 6hours behind-the-wheel training course with DMV licensed driving school. The driver education course completion certificate is required to obtain a learner's permit. The six hours Behind-The-Wheel Training completion certificate is required to take DMV Driving Test.

We REQUIRE a DMV driver learner’s permit in order to conduct your driving lessons

 The DMV requires students who are under the age of 18 to complete a 30-hour Driver Education (on-line or in-class) and a 6-hour Behind the Wheel Driver’s Training Course.

We Offer Free Online Driver Eduaction for this program
Our Driver Education and Training Combo meets the minimum requirement set by the DMV, which are a 30-hour (online or in-class) education course and 6 hours behind the wheel training. Our online driver education course is approved by California DMV and can be taken anywhere at any time of your convenience 24/7.
When a student completes their online driver education, we will mail a Driver Education completion certificate to the registered address within 7 days.

Please DO NOT make a DMV written test appointment UNTIL you have RECEIVED your certificate.

After a student obtains DMV learner’s permit, the student make a behind –the-wheel taining.

We have trained satisfied students well over 35,000 since 1996. They became licensed drivers to share public roads and highways with you. Our licensed Driving Instructors are trained to provide a safe driving environment and can answer anything regarding rules of the roads. We service our clients with a free pick up and drop off service at their home to start their driving lesson right from their front door for our client’s convenience. Driving lesson is private lesson. Our goal is to meet the highest standards of excellence by teaching our students to become defensive drivers.

Our web site is data driven website therefore you can sign up, make appointments, changing appointments, cancel appointment and change your pick up address. In order to edit your information, you must give at least 2days prior to your appointments.
Ateam Driving School Policy
What A-team driving school has to offer for driver training courses:
1. A-Team driving school instructors: Our driving school instructors are ; their background has been checked and screened by the Department of Justice. Driving instructors are employees to our driving schoolTherefor, They are covered by WORKMEN COMP INSURANCE. We have right to cancel service at any time and any reason due to unforseen events.
2. A-team driving school training vehicle: The vehicles are equipped with dual brake to further assist our students in both experience and safety. Students are covered by Auto liability insurance against other motorist on public highways while driving the training vehicle.
3. Driving Lesson:
Our Behind -The-Wheel-Training lesson is an individualized private lesson. therefore, it is imperative to cancel 24 hours ahead. Ateam Driving School charges a penalty fee for same day cancellation. Please call us at least 2days(48 hours) ahead (Before 3:30pm) or cancel online 24 hours ahead (before 3:30PM) to avoid penalty.
4. DMV Driving Test Service: We do not service DMV Test
5. Six hours driver's training completion certificate:
For students under the age of 18 years old who have completed the 6 hours driver's traing course will be issued a certificate of completetion of 6 hours behind-the- wheel training by the instructor. This certificate must be presented to the DMV when the student attempts to take the DMV driving exam. Please do not lose the certificate ( There will be $35 for administration fee for reissuance of the certificate).
6. Refund policy:
There will be no refunds after 6 months. Courses expire within 1 year. Before the 6 months, we will refund the amount of hours the student did not take lesson less $25 bank charge and administration fee.
